The collaborative effort between Aloma and Annex Industries has yielded a masterpiece of outdoor architecture: the handmade fireplace. Our client's need for a durable, all-weather fireplace has been fulfilled with our meticulous use of 44W structural plate steel, angle iron, and custom machined hardware, all cut by hand using classical metal fabrication methods.

The elevated platform and offset firebox were purposefully designed to maximize ease of use and storage of wood cords, while the base utilizes standard-sized refractory bricks to facilitate effortless replacement and efficient heat distribution. Mindful of the caustic nature of ash and the intense heat gradients involved, we ensured that the completed structure was coated with a high-heat ceramic oil-based finish to prevent oxidation.

In keeping with our design philosophy of "less, but better", this outdoor fireplace stands out for its impeccable craftsmanship and functionality. It is a true testament to the beauty of simplicity and the importance of thoughtful design.
