4 Axis CNC Router

What is a 4 Axis CNC Router ?

A 4-axis CNC router for wood is a computer-controlled cutting machine that uses four axes of motion (X, Y, Z, and A) to carve, shape, and mill wood into precise shapes and designs. This type of CNC router allows for greater flexibility and precision in the manufacturing process.

A 4-axis CNC router for wood can make a wide variety of objects and products, including furniture, cabinetry, decorative trim, signs, art pieces, and much more. With its precise and efficient cutting capabilities, it can produce intricate designs, patterns, and details that are difficult to achieve with traditional woodworking tools. The machine can work with a range of wood types, including hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, and MDF, and can accommodate various thicknesses and sizes of wood.

Overall, a 4-axis CNC router for wood is a powerful tool that offers woodworkers and manufacturers the ability to create intricate and precise wood products with speed and accuracy.

What size parts fit on the router ?

Our 4-axis CNC mill can effectively cut materials up to

  • 5 inches (127 mm) height,

  • 49 inches (1244.6 mm) width

  • 49 inches (1244.6 mm) depth.

While the milling volume remains fixed, the size of parts that can be fixed on the bed is not limited to these dimensions. In fact, larger parts can overhang the bed as long as the features that need to be machined fall within the milling volume.

Typical Materials

  • Aluminum

  • Brass

  • Polymers (Plastics)

  • Wood
